Righteousness is both a gift and a pursuit. The gift secures our position before God forever, while the pursuit shapes our daily walk. As believers learn Scripture, submit to its authority, and walk by faith, they increasingly reflect the character of the righteous God who saved them. As Paul concludes, “The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14:17).
